FFXIV Weaver Unlock guide: Quest Locations and Coordinates

The Final Fantasy XIV Weaver will help any other crafting class get off to a good start. It doesn’t always have the most practical or flashiest gear, but it is a good idea to get it levelled up early and often if your goal is to become a Disciple. However, weavers are transformed into Glamour Machines in the final game. Their job is to produce the finest fashion in Eorzea. This is only if you complete all of the Job’s questlines and continue to work on it. FFXIV guides are needed to unlock the Weaver and locate its quest locations throughout the game.

FFXIV Weaver Quest locations

It can be challenging to find your next Job quest in or FFXIV. It is possible to search your log for completed quests. This will show you the last missions you completed for each class, as well as the NPC name you need to talk with for the next one. Where is the NPC? Is it in the same spot as last time, or have they moved? What was the ” last time ” if you don’t remember playing a particular class for a while, what was the “last time”?

We have created a table that indicates the location, coordinates and required level of each Weaver Job quest. Note: “Way of the Weaver” is the first quest. It begins in Ul’Dah (the capital of Thanalan). These coordinates are shown below. It is worth noting that the guild has its own Aethernet Shard. There’s a chance that you have already unlocked this node before you read this.

All FFXIV gatherers and crafters start at Level 70. The Weaver is not included in this example. There are no more class-specific quests. Instead, you will gain access to “The Crystalline Mean.” You can find this small gathering spot for NPCs in The Crystarium back on Norvrandt after you have reached the capital city of Shadowbringers. It is marked “The Crystalline Mean” as an Aethernet point. If you are having trouble finding it, it’s on the top floor of the city, close to the Amaro Launch. Blue side quest markers will draw the attention of gatherers and crafters who have sufficient levels. The opening quest is also known as “The Crystalline Mean.”

Five NPCs are notable in the area, each with its quest chains. Each chain can be linked to multiple crafting and gathering classes so that you can complete every step of the questline with any relevant classes. The Fishers are the only exception; they receive their quests apart from all other classes.

In other words, the Crystalline Mean functions are very similar to Role Quests in combat classes. Any DPS magic user can complete any DPS wizard questline step by step. The Crystalline Mean missions for “Facet of Crafting” are shared by Weaver, Carpenter, or Leatherworker. As long as you meet the required level requirements, any quest within their series can be completed as one of the three Jobs. After talking to the NPC Recording Node, these quests begin at Level 70 with “Cherished memories.”

Almost every Crystalline Mean mission requires you to talk with someone, gather items, craft them, and turn them in. Custom Deliveries are for characters in Idyllshire and Elmore. For every delivery and quest, you get XP and Gil. Scrips are also available. Quest chains are a great way to increase your non-combat class levels. As you advance your Disciples of the Hand or Land, you can also use the Scrips for helpful gear and items.

Notice: To unlock The Crystalline Mean, you must complete Level 72 Main Scenario Quest ‘The Crystarium’s Resolve.’

Notes on Studium Deliveries

Although we don’t know much about the new quests at the moment, Square Enix provided the basics in a November Live letter before the release of Endwalker. This topic: These seem to be the Endwalker equivalent to The Crystalline Mean quests. It’s pretty safe to assume that the quests will occur at The Studium, an established location in Old Sharlayan. This information is only a preview and some educated guesses. Endwalker will be live soon. We’ll then have a Studium Delivery Guide to accompany everything else.

FFXIV Weaver Basics & Importance

The FFXIV Weber shares all the same capabilities as any other crafting class. What they can create is the difference. This includes almost all cloth-based armour types that are used on multiple magic-wielding classes. This makes the Weaver a useful but not necessarily the most exciting or all-around valuable Disciple. They have some advantages over similar armour-makers.

Like the Leatherworker, the Weaver creates some of the armour used in crafting classes. This makes it an excellent class to level up quickly since you can easily improve your crafting stats and make your gear. It also raises the tide of all Disciples of the Hand. Most of the crafting gear in and FFXIV can be shared between all classes.

The Weaver components are derived from essential gathering, unlike the Leatherworker, who relies on random drops of enemy monsters or Retainers specializing in collecting creature parts. This makes it easy to obtain raw crafting materials if you become a Botanist, which most serious crafters do anyway, and max out the Miner Class and other crafting Jobs. It is up to you to decide which system you prefer. However, mining and harvesting in masse are faster and more efficient than hunting.

Weaving can be more time-consuming than other forms of crafting. Most Weaver crafts begin with raw materials. You then craft the threads into threads used to make the final item (usually armour). This adds extra interstitial steps to some classes. This can be a problem if you are crafting for money. Your most significant investment is often time. This does not mean that you cannot sell your threads or clothes to other craftspeople on the market board. These items will be less valuable than the final piece of gear, but they will sell better consistently. These items are often purchased in significant quantities by impatient players. It is also a great way to get any leftover material out of your bag since it takes up some of your (not so limited) inventory.

Later, weavers are the endgame moneymakers. They create rare cosmetic items for Glamours. They share this honour with Leatherworkers, but each class can only make a subset of the items. Hardcore crafters will want to upgrade their Weaver classes at some point. It’s a good idea to get started (and make money) early.

These are the basics of unlocking the Weaver (and reasons why you should) in FFXIV. You also now have a handy list to help you check locations as you go through your class quests and adventure. Good luck with your journey!
