Rainbow Six Siege is still going strong since it released almost five decades back in December of 2015. In spite of a large community and a constant player base, small Easter eggs continue to be discovered from the community. 1 Rainbow Six Siege player posted something which has seemingly been in the sport for quite some time, but the neighborhood is delighting inside.

There are more than 50 playable operators in Rainbow Six Siege, and there are more on the way. The operators have various abilities, gear, and even health and motion rate. But every operator isn’t just there for gameplay strategy; they’ve their own backstories for the purpose of lore building as well, and that is where the latest Easter egg was found.

Rainbow Six Siege includes a household affair of operators. The Bosak family in Siege are three distinct operators. Jan Bosak is the Father along with a former Polish Special Forces unit GROM, and Zofia Bosak and Elzbieta Bosak are competing sisters. Because the sisters ‘ are bitter rivals, Ubisoft added a little incentive in Rainbow Six Siege. Whenever any of those 2 sisters kill each other, the player receives some incentive points marked as”Sister Rivalry.”

This fun little extra operator based detail by the developer is only one of many. One of the additional gameplay changes has to do with precisely the exact same rival sisters, since the concussion grenades are as successful against each other since the two are used to it. There is an ability named Nanoboost Surge that permits players to breathe faster, and therefore they’ll take double damage if indoors of smoke. Additionally, Doki’s logic bomb at one point didn’t work on Echo, since Echo doesn’t have a phone (but this was altered by Ubisoft, since the developer works on balancing for Siege).

Worldbuilding and lore in video games make the game feel more immersive, and it’s impressive that a multiplayer concentrated game like Rainbow Six Siege does so well. A couple of games, like Apex Legends or Overwatch, work hard at producing stories outside of the sport. But the special hidden gems in Rainbow Six Siege is an illustration of bringing this worldbuilding directly into the game, and it’s something the community seems to enjoy, according to the comments of the Reddit article if nothing else.

Rainbow Six Siege continues to be tremendously successful for Ubisoft, since it is one of it’s greatest selling games of the last generation. The minute-to-minute gameplay is build onto a rock-solid DNA. The lore and worldbuilding through hidden secrets and deep cuts in gameplay just add to that polish.

Rainbow Six Siege is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, also will be accessible on PS5 and Xbox Collection X later in 2020.
