Snake is under the player’s control, and he must navigate the map to complete the missions. Enemies cannot spot him. The threat detection system is revamped, removing the onscreen meter or gauge to indicate to the player that they are in the ‘alert/evasion/caution’ state as in previous games, which visual and audio representations have replaced instead. Ground Zeroes has seven missions, each locked at different levels. The player will complete the main mission. Four additional missions, known as “Side Ops”, will be unlocked at different times in the day. They are all located in Camp Omega. These missions require the player to complete specific tasks such as obtaining classified information or eliminating targets. After completing the main mission, the player can unlock two extra Ops ” missions.
