Gamers slam PlayStation 5’s new system upgrade

It’s easy to understand why gamers have ripped the latest PlayStation 5 update apart mercilessly.

PlayStation 5 users would like to see Sony add a lot of new features to their console. Before we’ve expressed our love of custom themes. It would be great if web browsers made a return. (We promise not to use them exclusively for porn).

There have also been some really useful updates over the past couple of years. The integration of Discord as well as the option to upload screenshots and captures manually to the PlayStation App was a great touch. This new update, though? Let’s face it… not all winners are going to be successful.

The PS5 System Software update: 23.01 – 07.60.00 was released earlier in the week. It does a thing. If you are familiar with system updates, you probably know what it is.

Do you have it? Yes, that’s correct “This software update enhances system performance”. That’s it. It’s just that simple. What’s the point of stability?

It’s not the first time that a PS5 update was so disappointing. PlayStation fans rushed to blast Sony over the new change.

“I installed the update, and I’m stable,” a user joked.

One more joke: “My PS5 will never be able to fall off the side.”

We’ve done it before.

It’s important to note that we are aware of the work done behind the scenes to ensure these updates run smoothly. And better performance on your system is not something to take lightly. There’s something amusing about an upgrade that claims to have done only one thing. It’s all about stability, I suppose.
