GTA 6 trailer suggests release in 2024
What is the location of GTA V in the world? Since Rockstar Games confirmed in February 2022 that Grand Theft Auto V was currently being developed, gamers have asked this question.
We’ve learned a great deal more since then about GTA 6, than Rockstar Games intended. leaked a lot of gameplay footage in September last year. It also confirmed the setting and protagonists of the game. Rockstar has confirmed this was a real leak, which was caused by a hacker. However, we have yet to receive an official release date or trailer. We don’t even know the title of the game.
As Inverse reported this is not the first time that people have claimed when GTA 6 would be released. Tweeter @Budzcario claims that we could see the trailer later in the year. The article stated: ” GTA 6 will be released next year. Rockstar plans to release a trailer in November or December.
This information should be taken with a grain of salt. In early May, a leak said that GTA 6 was to be released before the 17th of May. This would tie in with Take-Two Interactive’s earnings call for Q4 2023. This obviously didn’t occur.
In the same thread on Twitter, @Budzcario seemed to backtrack, and claimed: “GTA 6 will be released in 2025.” The lack of consistency doesn’t suggest much about the accuracy of the leak. But we’ll have to see what happens.
