Roll on, Elden Ring supporters! Update: The latest update is now available. This is not Shadow of the Erdtree but I will tell you about the changes that FromSoftware has made to the game base.
It’s been quite a while since we heard about Elden Ring. The expansion was announced earlier this year. All we know is that “new adventures will be found in the Lands Between”. The fans have gone into detective mode, however. It appears that the concept artwork shows Malenia’s elder brother Miquella. An Elden Ring Season Pass was axed to make way for the expansion. We may learn the release date of Gamescom Opening Night Live, which takes place in August. Let’s take a look at the latest update notes.
Elden Ring Version 1.10 introduces several changes to players of PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam. PvP balance changes include increased damage from all weapons, some spells, and certain incantations. There is also increased poise generated by some attacks using skills, incantations, or spells. The devs increased the critical hit angle, and decreased invulnerability windows for Quick Step, Hound’s Step, and some items, skills, and incantations.
As for general adjustments to balance, the critical hit damage was increased while the recovery time following a missed critical hit was decreased. After missing a crucial hit, attacks will also have increased damage.
Bug fixes and other general improvements include an adjustment of the player’s damage animation to ensure that it isn’t accidentally shifted when attacking while using weapons or skills that create poise. A bug was also fixed which prevented certain spells from doing damage under the influence of items and some skills. A bug was also fixed that prevented the effects of Sacred Order to be continued after changing weapons. Finally, some text has been corrected in various languages.
