Far Cry 6 can be downloaded for free and played right away
Far Cry has been the topic of much discussion in recent months. If you’ve wanted to play the latest game, this is a good time.
If you haven’t heard, Far Cry 8 was recently reported to be in development. However, rumors suggest that it will not be named Far Cry 7,. A so-called “insider” claims that the game’s title will be Far Cry Rise and the action is set on the tropical island of Kimsan in the Yellow Sea. According to the story, the island is occupied by North Korean rebels, and the players must protect and survive their sister from this insurgency. Ubisoft has not confirmed any of these claims as of the date of publication.
You can get a trial of Far Cry 6 on Xbox One (Series X/S), PS4 (PS5), and PC (via Ubisoft Connect or Epic Games Store) now, regardless if Far Cry 7 is coming soon. This is a free trial of the game. However, any progress made will carry over to the complete game when you decide to purchase it.
It’s also great that anyone with a PlayStation Plus Extra- or Premium subscription can play all of Far Cry 6 through the Game Catalogue. This will only last as long as Sony allows it to remain in the Game Catalogue. So, if interested, get it now.
