Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 faces delays or bans in some countries

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, without a doubt, is among the most thrilling video games of 2018, but its release date in some countries appears uncertain.

The exclusive PS5 sequel to the 2018 web-slinging game looks incredible. In an open world, players can swap freely between Peter Parker and Miles Morales and take advantage of their abilities to perform cool Spider-Man things in New York. Peter will also get his hands on the Symbiote Suit at some point. It looks ridiculously powerful (and extremely fun). The game world is also twice as big. Imagine the number of backpacks you could hide in there.

VGC has reported that the sequel will be released on October 20. However, some Middle East countries (such as Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates), are unable to order Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Reddit users have reported the release date of the game on the PlayStation store was “to be decided”, without the option to add the title to their carts. reported that had preordered this title before it was removed from the store. They also stated they received a full refund. The game’s rating appears to have been completely removed from the local PlayStation listings.

Currently, there are multiple stories from fans that contradict each other. While some claim has received a PlayStation Support message that this game would be released on the 20th of October, others have alleged have heard that it may not even release in the Middle East. Sony has yet to respond officially to this situation.
