How can I use the Phasmophobia Crucifix effectively? The ghost must be within the area of the Crucifix when it starts hunting.
Using the Crucifix to combat Phasmophobia is best done by placing it directly on the floor in the area where the ghost is located. It has a 3-meter range and two batteries. The Crucifix appears to affect Banshees when it is within a 5-meter range.
The ghost will not be able to start a hunting attempt if it is in the vicinity of a Crucifix. Its charge will also decrease. Each mission allows you to take two Crucifixes. Once it glows red and has been placed in the blacksmith furnace, you will know that both of its charges have been used.
Keep in mind, however, that the Crucifix of Phasmophobia does not seem to have any effect on an enemy who has already started hunting. It’s important to place it close enough to the ghost for it not to become aggressive.
