Spider-Man’s next adventure video game will offer players greater freedom and options than ever, even allowing them to play the game more easily.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has plans to extend everything from the previous game. Spider-Man Miles Morales was introduced with new gadgets and new locations.

The new content will certainly be interesting for veterans, but it may be too complex for casual players. Combat already demands perfect timing, and the use of gadgets, particularly on the higher difficulty levels.

Marvel’s Spider-Man, and Marvel’s Spider-Man remastered were updated to include accessibility features. Some of these features included advancing automatically through QTE segments and aiming by using a toggle instead of holding the trigger.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will expand this list to include additional features, which aim to tailor the gaming experience to more players.

The following features are new:

Screen reader: This feature reads out loud all text on the screen, including menus.

On-screen captions are available as well as audio descriptions for films.

You can slow the game down to 70, 50, or 30 percent of its full speed. Switching back to the regular speed is possible at any point.

Combat speed reduction can be a useful feature for players who have trouble keeping up with the fast pace of action. This will allow you to plan better, counter more enemies and make your experience more enjoyable, particularly as enemies become more difficult and numerous. This will presumably also work in boss battles, which are a difficult challenge for new players.

It is great that Insomniac Games has put effort into making Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 an experience for everyone to enjoy.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is coming to the PlayStation 5 in October 2023.
