Baldur’s Gate 3 Free Update Released with Tons of Major Improvements

 

Here’s some good news: Baldur’s Gate 3 has released its latest update. It was previously released but then rolled back after people complained that it crashed their games.

Since the launch of Baldur’s Gate 3, developer Larian Studios, has worked hard to patch on PC. The game’s problems are not due to the fact that it is broken, but rather that it has been a difficult title for players all over the world.

After a minor hiccup, is now available to download for Baldur’s Gate 3. Larian apologized for the initial problems with the patch in a post on Steam. They have also promised to make changes so that it won’t occur again.

BLOCKERS AND CRASHES

  • Fixes players who were stuck in the middle of Long Rest due to their companions failing to wake up.
  • Fixes the issue of not being able Long Rest on the and potentially making the portal disappear.
  • If the door in Wyrm’s Crossing was opened prior to the killing, the player will be pulled away from their location.
  • Fix a scripting issue that prevented some players from loading their save games.

MULTIPLAYER

  • Fix characters that disappear when reconnecting or disconnecting from the split screen.
  • A warning has been added for the hosts when their clients drop in during character creation. The hosts must approve new players before they join.
  • Fix the visibility of GOG multiplayer servers.

COMBAT

  • Isobel has a slightly higher HP so that she won’t be as vulnerable to death.
  • Fixes a bug that caused him to join in the battle taking place while in his upstairs office.
  • Fix for Cruel Sting, which added infinite additional Psychic Damage to all attacks.

FLOW and SCRIPTING

  • Fixes the issue where the player character’s crime was not cleared, which resulted in soft blocks when talking to them.
