Fans hail Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Wasteland as the best map in the game
It can be a difficult task to select a favorite Call of Duty moment from the many available.
Call of Duty is the most popular first-person shooter in the world. It has surpassed the Medal of Honor, Battlefield, and many others.
The series is not without its flaws. There are some inconsistent releases, such as Call of Duty 3 and Vanguard. This series is known for its high-octane, over-the-top single-player campaign, as well as robust multiplayer options and, in some cases, a zombie mode.
In the past, I spent countless hours playing MW2(2009). It was the tight gameplay and well-thought-out maps, as well as its progression system, that made me want to play it again.
Favela is one of the maps I personally like in Modern Warfare 2. Other favorites include Highrise, Scrapyard, and Terminal. Wasteland is another map that has been the subject of discussion recently on Twitter. Wasteland, a map located in Chornobyl that is open and sniper-friendly spells doom to those who attempt close-quarter combat. This is why, to be completely honest, I didn’t enjoy this map. I am not a fan of sniping.
CharlieIntel, a Call of Duty fan site on Twitter, sparked a debate by claiming that Wasteland was the best map of Modern Warfare 2 (2009). Everyone has their opinion, right? Many fans agreed with this opinion while others disagreed.
Barnzey23 replied: “Wasteland, with thermal intervention *chefs kiss*.” JTheWorm added, “This map is underrated. It was definitely a zone for snipers.” STYLER97 said that “Chopper Gunner and AC-130 was criminal on wasteland”.
You’re lucky if you love the old-school Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. Insiders claim that the entire multiplayer map set from Modern Warfare 2 will be remastered for this year’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare III. Enjoy the day!
