Starfield reviews embargo lifted as the game becomes officially playable
The Starfield embargo will be lifted on this date!
The 17th of August confirmed the lifting of the Starfieldreviews embargo on 31 August, at 5 PM BST (12 PM EST or 9 AM PST for those who were curious). The reviews will begin to arrive once the embargo has been lifted. Gamers will be able to see what they can expect when entering space. Kinda.

The hype was a real thing when Bethesda revealed Starfield had gone gold, and that pre-downloads would be available. Fans are now scrambling for as much info as they can, even though the embargo is in effect.
Even though we keep the details a secret, gamers feel confident about the current state of the game. The HTML0’s That_Border said: “Two-week time frame for reviews, the review embargo expiring one week prior to the release of the main game, and that the early access is available are all pretty good indicators for how the developers feel about the game.”
Right now the odds seem to be incredibly favorable. We’re even more excited now that we’ve learned about the Housing System in the main cities and that Twenty Companions will be accompanying us.
While we’re all anticipating the release of Bethesda, some players are just as excited. “I’m not able to play this game on my Xbox, PC, or Mac but I am excited to watch its reception.
