Microsoft released an Xbox update that included features fans found to be truly terrible. It doesn’t take much for gamers to be annoyed, even at their best.

Xbox, PlayStation, and Shiny New Features are all familiar to console users. is a new feature that improves system performance and stability, makes our lives easier, and improves the overall user experience.

Xbox has recently undergone a major update that caused controversy. Many fans want to see the changes reversed.

The “Most Played Games” tab is one of the new changes. However, it does not actually show you which games are most played. This is clearly not optimal.

The My Games and Apps button has been replaced by a “Browse the Store” option.

Why did they place the store button in the same location as the button for my apps and games? One angry Reddit User asked.

Some people have called this a stupid move while others claim that the icons are still in their original positions. Uncertain why the change didn’t affect everyone, or whether it would be reversed. But it seems odd to make such a small but crucial change.

Another Reddit commenter agrees: “I agree that this change is stupid.” I hate it.”

Another person added, “Definitely an L from Microsoft.” On a console that I spent hundreds of dollars on, and via a monthly service, I shouldn’t be seeing this many f *****g advertisements on my homepage.

Xbox is known to be open to feedback, and if this strange change was not a mistake there’s a good chance that it can still be reversed.
