Black Myth Wukong has new video gameplay featuring brutal combat
During the Gamescom Opening Night Live, Black Myth Wokong was showcased with new gameplay.
Black Myth Wukong, a new RPG created in Unreal Engine 5 that is inspired by Chinese mythology with soul-like gameplay.
In 2021, the first gameplay trailer appeared and showed us what to expect in terms of world exploration and combat.
Black Myth Wukong is based upon the 16th-century Chinese classic Journey To The West. It can be summarized as the story of a monkey-king named Sun Wukong who embarks on a quest for power that he uses to battle the Taoist deities.
In addition to the hack-and-slash combat that is perfectly timed, the players can also use incredible abilities and powers, such as the ability to transform into other creatures. The creatures include giant flying insects and huge hulking beasts. They will be used in battle and for collecting collectibles.
The game will require players to carefully observe and anticipate their opponent’s moves before they can launch an attack. This adds strategic depth to the gameplay.
Black Myth Wukong has not yet received an official release date but is expected in 2024. This game is available on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 platforms, as well as PC.
