In Knightfall A Desperate Journey, as many as 20 participants join two teams in order to get to the castle and then pluck the flower before everyone else. The trip will last many days. The knights have to find shelter in various villages along the way in order to avoid freezing to death on the cold winter nights. As the journey progresses, it becomes increasingly difficult to find villages to visit, and every team is likely to contend with other groups of soldiers to find shelter.
As the first group to get into each village, they will have the best selection of weapons and bandages needed in order to protect themselves against an approaching group of knights. Every morning, they must swiftly get back on their horse to race for the next village until they can take the rosary.
