A bicycle crash destroys his hopes of being a professional racer, Aoi Minase returns to his home town, feeling depressed and exhausted. In a state of despair, with no hope in the near future, and with not knowing what to do from now from now, Aoi meets Kotori Habane–a young girl who is stuck in the back of a wheelchair with a flat tire.
